Sara Broussard
I am a junior in the Interior Design program at Louisiana State University, with minors in Business Administration and Fine Arts. Prior to that, I studied a variety of things (most notably Business Management and PP&E) at the King's College in New York City. I hail from Mandeville, Louisiana, a small suburb of New Orleans.
Growing up just outside of New Orleans injected an unavoidable sense of passion into my world from an early age. The writer Chris Rose once said of New Orleanians: "We dance even if there's no radio. We drink at funerals. We talk too much and laugh too loud and live too large and, frankly, we're suspicious of others who don't." I carry that sort of passion and zest for life into everything I do, from the biggest space design project to the smallest organization task. I love all things interior design and art related, and I take great pride in learning more and more every day.
When I'm not shaping interiors, I can be found cheering on LSU sports teams, designing t-shirts as the Co-Chair of Merchandising for the Delta Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Fraternity, Pinterest-ing, reading (Jane Jacob's The Death and Life of Great American Cities, currently), or just veg-ing out in front Gilmore Girls reruns.
